Sail Date: May 2015

Our cruise was an excellent learning and relaxing experience. The ports of call were all very interesting. It was our first time in London and Paris and tho time was short, we got an excellent overview of several famous sights. The champagne lunch at 56 Tour Effiel was amazing. We were on one of the first voyages of the Viking Star and we were so impressed that we are sailing the same ship in 2016 to different ports. The food was impeccable, the food service was friendly, very accommodating, totally 5 star. Our room was always serviced timely and we found the large lighted vanity mirror that was built into the desk, one of the wonderful and unusual special touches found throughout the ship.

The Viking crew met us at the airport baggage claim area so the foreign travel aspect was immediately easy and we were in friendly Vikings hands from that point forward. The excursions were varied and we always found serveral interesting choices that appealed to us. The cruise exceed our expectations. At the end of cruise we took the excursion to Iceland. We would also highly recommend this add on very extraordinary excursion.
