I was travelling solo with a group from a German cruise website. This was my first (and likely last) NCL cruise. I decided to go on this cruise to meet some people I am chatting with on the cruise website and to find out if the big 3000+ passenger ships in general and NCL would be an alternative to choose from in the future. I have been on many cruises before with the biggest ship so far being the Celebrity Solstice.

Escape is NCLs newbuilt which is to be doing Carribean Cruises out of Miami once she reaches the other side of the Atlantic. The 2 days from Hamburg to Southampton were the inaugural cruise.

It is really a big ship with 20 decks and some 4200 passengers.
