First let me start off by saying we did not pay for this cruise. This was an incentive trip from one of my husband's vendors so our experience may be a little different in some aspects. We are 48 years old and were not traveling with children. Therefore I cannot comment on any family activities other than to say we never saw the carousel open, never saw the build-a-bear type store or the candy shop on the boardwalk level open. Thought that was kind of odd.

Boarding the boat in Barcelona was quick and easy. Our room #9272 was ready at 1 pm but we were hungry so we had a quick bite to eat at Johnny Rockets. Staff was friendly. Several mornings we ate in the American Icon restaurant but not many people were aware that the Johnny Rockets breakfast was complimentary. We had breakfast at Johnny Rockets two or three times and were the only ones. We also had breakfast one morning in the Solarium cafe.

Our trip included the 8:30 pm seating in Silk each night and our server, Marlon, was wonderful! he was very knowledgeable about the menu as well as suggestions for each day's ports of call. Very disappointed in the dress code in the dining room during the week and especially during formal nights. No one seems to get dressed up any more. One night we ate at the Mexican restaurant on the boardwalk level and had a quick meal of tacos and quesidillas. Margaritas were great.

Port Reviews

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

We paid the 5 euros per person for the shuttle bus and spent a lovely day walking around the city. We had adult beverages at the Hard Rock cafe because they offer free wifi

Florence (Livorno)

Took the shuttle into Florence. I had been there before but my husband had not. Very easy to walk around but bus guide really didn't offer any suggestions or discuss the City's history.
