The ship was late getting to port from dry dock. Getting onto the ship in Singapore was a lengthy process just getting through the port process. We were held up for an extended period with no information as to why the delay. The gangway was very hot; water would have been nice. There were reports of heat exhaustion among some passengers. Apologies and an explanation came the next along a refund. The crew particularly the waiters and cabin stewards were excellent. The standard of the food on board was patchy and varied from excellent to just edible. There were lots of glitches with equipment on board like inefficient toasters, inoperable laundry equipment, faulty exercise gear and others. The accommodation was very good our room had just one issue, the air con was too noisy. We heard of issues with cabins from blocked toilets to flooding due to a burst pipe. Entertainment was from great to useless. As first time cruisers we had no benchmark to compare with but will cruise again with another cruise line.

Great; small but everything worked and was roomy enough. Stewards were excellent.
