Don't get me wrong, most of the hardworking staff are incredible and want to make your feel as comfortable as possible however I am disappointed to say that Carnival Spirit has dropped the ball.
There were flooded rooms, poor shower drainage, faulty air conditioning, banging balcony partitions, ridiculously long waiting times for shore visits and returning to the ship, the food was the poorest of quality and presentation I have ever encountered both on the sea and on land this resulted in passengers queuing for toasted sandwiches and fruit.
Live entertainment was disappointing and at times made you squeamish with embarrassment.
Not all of the facilities were working and after the refurbishment there is still no shade for the kids swimming area, where there is little else for them to do but swim, this is important guys!
We met so many lovely people from across Australia and unfortunately will never see them on a Cruise again as a result.
Carnival Spirit, this was not a result of the recent attempt at refurbishment in Singapore, this is a clear lack of desire for an enjoyable experience and poor planing and preparation on your behalf, not only have you earned a poor review you have now lost a Gold member.
