The destination was changed from China and Japan to Vietnam because of the expected occurrence of the typhoon. We were offered $500 on broad credit for the change. The ship was built in the 1990s and was renovated in 2014. They claimed to provided to provide a 5 star hotel service, but we could only rated it as a 3 star hotel service. No provision of the basic toiletries and bathrobe, only bath gel was provided. No shampoo, conditioner and body lotions were provided. The restaurant service was far from satisfaction, we were frequently asked to share table with other passengers for meals. They have a lot different sizes tables in 3 floors, but they just tried to group all the passengers in one floor instead of allocate passengers to other floors when different sizes tables are available. The service of the waiters and the quality of the food was good, apart from there was limited choices of main courses.

No information was ever given about the ports we are going to visit, they just tried to sell their shore excursions which were far more expensive than the excursions provided by the local travel agents. Information about the ports that we would visit was far more important because the destination was only be confirmed the night before our departure.

The activities conducted or provided were good, except the ice skiing venue was always closed, we can only enjoy skiing for 2 nights, each lasting about 3 hours with only half hour each session.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin I

The cabin was above average, enough space for 3 of us and the bed linen was very smooth and I can fall asleep easily each.
