My adult daughter and I cruised the Western Caribbean on this ship. It was a wonderful vacation for 2 adults, Disney fans or not. We have cruised many times over the past 20 years, and this was one of the best. While others have given detailed reviews of the rooms, the itinerary, etc., I would like to highlight the small touches that made this cruise stand out. Checking my suitcase at my departure airport and having it delivered to my stateroom. Entering the ship to applause. Large peel and eat shrimp on the lunch buffet. Chocolates on the pillows at night. Free soda. Wine and Champagne classes. No obnoxious bar staff constantly roaming the pool deck selling drinks. A huge variety of free, on demand movies in the room - no pay per view.

Quality shampoo, conditioners, lotions, soaps delivered every day by the room steward. Crew members who stopped and asked you how the trip was going and was there anything else they could do. Riding the Aquaduck slide. The quality of the shows. Maintenance crew who said hi as you walked passed. A foot stool in the room that doubled as a hamper. Free interactive games around the ship. First run movies shown in a huge theater with popcorn. Our amazing server - Rita - who brought us cake just because she wanted us to try it. The quiet elegance of Palo. The safety first environment on Castaway Cay - when the staff insisted that everyone stay undercover in a thunderstorm. The superb pianist who played all around the ship.

And then there were the Disney touches - my daughter dancing with Chip, Goofy pretending to have a leg cramp so 2 kids could rub it. The diaper derby in the Atrium. Watching little girls meet Disney princess and their joy in the event. The fun of Pirate night. The amazing video at Animators Palate that everyone created. Donald Duck peering over my shoulder as I read a book.
