For the price we paid for this small ship cruise, we were disappointed. Excursions were not included in the price as they are on most small ships/river cruises, and we were not notified of these charges until we boarded the ship. Prices were high for the trips. The brochure is written as if all passengers will see the sights by being on the ship. Not true - only if you pay extra!

The crew and staff were friendly and efficient. The cruise directors did a good job of trying to straighten out some of the misinformation the passengers had received; however, it was too late to decide not to go. We were unable to dock at Navy Pier in Chicago as indicated in the brochure and were not notified of the change to an industrial dock 45 minutes out of the city. This change had been known by the company for a few months but the company did not notify passengers, some who had made plans to meet friends and to disembark at the Navy Pier. Rooms were spacious, but arranged in an awkward way without a bedside light. There was no room safe and the TV was a miniature flat screen. Bathroom was fine.

Itinerary was interesting and took us to a variety of ports. The on-board naturalist lecturer was excellent and added a great deal to the experience.

Cabin Review

Cabin G

Spacious, but arranged awkwardly. Could not get a light next to the bed. No room safe. Bathroom was nice.
