We booked early and saved hard to pay for this cruise. Two previous cruises with RCI Liberty of the Seas were wonderful. This cruise was a disappointment and I would not cruise on the Anthem again or her sister ships. Too many passengers and not enough pools or room on the sundeck. Standing room only in the one outdoor pool by mid day on cruising days. Not a 5 star experience.

The quality of the food, entertainment and staterooms was generally as good as before but it was like being packed in like sardines on the sun deck. You can't put your drink down between the sun chairs which are mass produced and not all that comfortable. Just not 5 star!

The pools are painted somehow like the old wall paper called Woodchip instead of tiled and the Jacuzzis seemed to be cooler and break down a lot.

Large Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Very good - especially the virtual balcony. Always spotless and both bed and bathroom very good.

Port Reviews

Gibraltar

We picked up a mini taxi for 8 at a set price of 35 Euros and saw all the Rocks main parts....views, caves, barbary apes, the airport and the tunnels built for defence when under attack. We also went with dolphin safari trip 2 hours later and saw loads of dolphins. They look after them and let them swim to us so they really want to be there. Brilliant...booked on line for £20 each!
