Seriously had the time of our lives. We took the 7-day Alaska inside passage on Norwegian Jewel, and wished it was (at least!) twice as long. The staff and crew truly work to make you feel like part of the 'family', and there was never a shortage of fun experiences.

"Freestyle" cruising is perfect for us, and the many options it affords made for a delightful experience. The only regret is that the 24-hour pub stopped serving 'adult beverages' after 2:00am. My partner and I are night owls, and would have enjoyed sipping Baileys and coffee on deck while enjoying the sea slip past. I would also have appreciated at least one vegetarian option on the late night menu. Small worries, indeed!

I have to make special mention of the entertainment on this cruise. In a word, STUNNING! I have been a theatre professional for more than a quarter decade, and these were some of the finest productions I have seen. Kudos, all around. Even the 'smaller stage' shows in the various pubs and bars were exceptional.

Cabin O1

Our stateroom was great, and kept immaculately clean and well stocked. Tiny, but, really, who wants to spend time sitting in your cabin? We used it to sleep (very little!) and store our stuff. The rest of the time was spent enjoying all that the ship had to offer. Cruise Director Armen and his staff provided so much to do, that we need to book immediately again just to experience the moments we missed while doing other things. I would have appreciated a coffee maker.

Port Reviews

Seattle

Seattle was a fun place to wander around. Pikes Market is a fun place to browse, and I highly recommend the UNDERGROUND TOUR. It was entertaining and hilarious.

Ketchikan

Just a beautiful little town to explore. The locals were so welcoming and a pleasure to interact with.
