This was our 2nd time on Queen Mary 2, my husbands father and wife joined us, they were first time cruisers.

The cruise was Southampton - Southampton, stopping in Hamburg at the beginning / end of a transatlantic cruise ( I may get to do one of those one day! )

Embarkation was a bit slow, I think everyone had ignored the embarkation times on their ticket and all arrived at once. It took 40 minutes to get onboard, once on our room was avaliable immediately, we had a balcony & the inlaws had an inside. Both rooms were of a good size and very clean. Read more
