After our last disastrous cruise on MSC Divina, we decided to try out Royal Carribean and we are SO PLEASED WITH our experience !!! So happy that we have booked a 24 nighter for next year! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we enjoyed every minute of the cruise. No shortage of things to do for young and old aboard Liberty. Our only small hiccup which we felt could have been handled better by the cruise line was the first night shore excursion in Bermuda. A beach bonfire in the middle of our pouring rain in the dark was NOT fun. The tour description said "a guided walk through the dockyard". The tour guide ditched us halfway in the rain and said "just keep walking straight and you will find it". She then left. The cruise line knew it would be raining so they could have exchanged our beach tickets for the following day. We got rained out completely. The free drinks were WATERED DOWN by the barmen at the beach club. The barman realised we were watching him and he said we shouldn't be watching him so closely.

The rest of the cruise we basically did our own exploration on shore. As far as the crew on the ship go, all of them speak english and were always polite and helpful except for one waitress in the main dining room who treated us like schoolkids. We complained and the next day the entire atmosphere in the dining room was a happier one. Food in the dining room and buffet was pretty good. On the last morning they told me the eggs benedict was finished. When my food arrived they had done their best to makeup eggs benedict with toast instead of a muffin and it was delicious. Shops and sales were great but the clothing boutique could have had more variety. Jewellery shop could have had more promotions and sales. I think they would have sold much more. Cupcake shop decorating lesson was loads of fun ! Entertainment was great although the "Elton John" show did not wow me. The ship never seemed overcrowded, very spacious. Cabins and general areas very clean, except on disembarkation morning. Restrooms were left dirty with tissue and toilet paper lying all over the floor and toilets not flushing. Cabin was excellent, nice large balcony. I would recommend cabin 7590.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Beautiful cabin, comfy bed. Shower decent size and PLENTY of packing space - wardrobe and drawers. Balcony huge. Just the curtains are starting to look a tad worn ? Cabin steward GABRIEL was fantastic !
