My husband and I have been on 19 cruises overall. Mostly Royal Caribbean, one Princess, two Holland America, and seven Carnival. I can say without a doubt that Norwegian was the absolute worst cruise ever. Our first and last on Norwegian.

Pro: Cabin 9920 - great aft balcony

Cons: Food in all dining venues arrived cold, absolutely no customer service (never knew the name of room steward), dirty dishes left in cabin for 3 days, no bar service in restaurants or casino; buffet area totally out of control - not laid out well at all; the ship was so crowded and the pool areas tiny for the amount of people; pool deck was hot steel - must wear sandals at all times; ship was extremely smokey - all clothing reeked from it; one night in dining room while waiting to be served we decided to leave because 6 waiters stood around and did nothing - when we left there were two cleaning people in FULL HAZMAT SUITS cleaning up something and we had to walk right through it.
