Sail Date: Apr 2015
Cabin: Concierge Class 2

My husband and I are in our late 50's. We have cruised over 12 times. We previously sailed the Summit to Bermuda in 2011 and 2014. We recently completed a southern Caribbean route. The ship is showing her age. We received a great price per person along with paid gratuities. We have th beverage package. Between Celebrity SBC and our travel agent - $625 total. It as great value.

Our room had a stained bedding skirt, bathroom rust and mildew. Our balcony not in good shape. We were in the a cat C2. Our cabin steward was attentive . We opted for select dining . Celebrity encourages you to make reservations yet did not honor our table request for 2 in a certain area. We did ask for the same waiter and he tried his best to serve us promptly . Unfortunately there was always a wait for drinks. I am a wine drinker and husband like a cocktail. We had to wait to long to be served and asked. I felt the menu wasn't as good as remembered. Unfortunately not much fish offered . That being said we never went hungry and the items we ordered were good.

We only went to 1 show - a good comedian. Our past favorite martini bar was ok but they played very loud music. It was hard to hear and don't understand why it is so loud. There is not many younger club age passengers on ship. I had read from others about this.

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Cabin showing age. Could of been maintained better. Our cabin steward was attentive and always remembered extra towels and ice request.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

We took shuttle bus to town if St Thomas for shopping. There's so many jewelers. That are annoying and try to get you in their store. The area of shopping though is pretty by the water

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Went to private beach club. Carambola was very pretty. We paid for the chairs. Husband enjoyed some snorkeling. It was a nice cab ride to see the island.

St. Croix

We were going to go to a Buck Island but decided not to book since we wanted a day to relax. This cruise is very port intensive. We walked to the town by the ship and shopped. It looked like a beautiful island.

Grenada

We took taxi to Anse beach area. It was very pretty. We went to the straw market where they sell spices. It was fun picking out spice kits though the market didn't have many vendors.

San Juan

We didn't take excursion as we arrived the day of the sailing. You leave the port late at 8:30. It is beautiful to sail by the el morrow castle with the music playing at the sail away.
