Norwegian Spirit Review

Norwegian Spirit - Bahamas

Review for the Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

For background, there were 9 of us on this cruise (me, my wife, and 7 of my wife's family), and the first cruise for half of us (including me). This was a Sunday to Saturday cruise (6 nights), stopping in Port Canaveral Florida, then in Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay.

Embarking/Disembarking: Had no trouble with either. Three people in our party were splitting a luxury room, so all of us got the VIP treatment to some degree. Checking in took a while, but was not overly delayed. Getting off the ship at the end was delayed a bit, but went quickly once we got going, and clearing customs was not a problem.

CABIN: My wife and I split a small room on a lower deck, with another two in our party in the next room, and everyone else several decks up. Our room used the space it has relatively well, though we did keep the beds split. Showers were good (plenty of hot water), and beds were comfortable (not at all hard as some reviews suggest). Some minor problems with the safe, but they were attended to as soon as I reported them. Closet space more than enough for two people, including storing the luggage bags. Did not have a balcony, but was not in the room long enough to make a difference.
