After reading many negative reviews after the refurbishment of Voyager we were a little apprehensive about this cruise, but need not have been. Most of the issues raised seem to have been resolved, and even though there were some long queues at the ports, to be expected when a large number of passengers are getting off at small ports, we did not find the ship to be crowded. (There were 3350 passengers on this cruise.)
We liked the refurbishment, it is a beautiful ship. The dining room furniture is really lovely, and our Junior Suite with it's new carpet, curtains and furniture was very pleasing too. Our stateroom attendant was one of the best we have ever had. (This was our 16th cruise.)
Embarkation went quite quickly, any hold ups being as a result of Australian customs and immigration, but we were in the top tier queue. Disembarkation was a breeze, with a straightforward walk off with our luggage at 8am.
A very spacious stateroom, with pleasing decor and plenty of room for 3 women sharing. There was even oodles of storage space for us all. Quiet covered-in balcony, midship was good, with an equal walk to both elevators.
