We had been on the Voyager before, so we were familiar with the ship. The recent refit took alot of the character out of the ship. The decor was bland and uninspiring.
Port- Sydney has a way to go. There was very little signage to let you know where to drop off bags and where to enter for check-in. As a seasoned cruiser, I would say this was the second worst port, (New Orleans being the worst) .
Embarkation- Since I have a mobility issue, once we were inside the terminal building, I was placed in a wheel chair and very well taken care of. We were walked through the check in process quickly & on the ship in no time. They took very good care of us and had a special check in area for wheel chair passengers., however it was a bit chaotic. They do need to organize this better and provide a larger area for these customers, as we were crunched up in front of a 6' table and no place for the line to meander. There were other "walking" passengers standing in our line and tripping over our wheelchairs. And sticking their bags in front of our wheel chairs, etc. In the holding area, they only provided chairs for the family member with the disability and all other family members were forced to sit on the floor to fill out immigration forms and wait.
Room was nice, bathroom to small, balcony, oddly shaped and very small. Close enough to the centrum elevators to make movement around the ship easy.
