Wonderful cruise! We were a little concerned about the weather before we left because it was supposed to rain and be on the cool side, but it turned out being absolutely perfect. Our cruise director made the comment that it was the best weather they had experienced all year. Overall, we had a lot of fun, but I'll break down the specifics below.
Getting on board- Easy. Disney allows you to choose a time to arrive (ours was 2:00-2:15) Lines were not too long, and check in was a breeze because we checked in online a few days in advance. Overall the process might have taken 15 minutes. As you board, they ask for your name and then in a microphone say, "Please welcome the ____ family!" and there is like a little greeting line. Lunch was being served when we arrived and our room was already ready.
Room- category 4b room 8636- really great. Great thing about Disney Cruise's are the separate shower and toilet- 2 sinks. One of best ideas on a cruise ship. Also- plenty of storage room under the queen size bed. Our stateroom host was awesome. Great towel art!
Deck 8- category 4b room 8636- really great. These bathrooms were huge compared to other ships. Great thing about Disney Cruise's are the separate shower and toilet- 2 sinks. One of best ideas on a cruise ship. Also- plenty of storage room under the queen size bed. Our stateroom host was awesome. Great towel art! Located on the starboard-aft side (back of the ship on the right side). Great room- has murphy bed, queen bed, sofa, and pullman. Balcony has clear views. You can hear noise in the hallways, but it doesn't really disturb you. Tons of space. Easy access to Cabanas, Animator's Palate and pool. Little way to midship, other restaurants, spa and theater. TV's On Demand have all the Disney Movies for free to watch, plus some extras. Lots of room.* The ship backed in to Castaway Cay which gives you a perfect view. I read many reviews that stated their ship backed in too*
