This was our 2nd time on the Getaway, and our 16th or 17th cruise in the last 15 years. We are early 50's and it was just hubby and myself.

Arrived at port around 10:30am and were group #8 to get on ship. No lines at all. Room was ready at 1pm. We had a semi-suite which means our bathroom was bigger but the cabin and balcony are like the others. Not worth the upgrade in our opinion as we are never in there at the same time. Cabin has plenty of storage although I miss having actual drawers. Balcony is very small, 2 chairs and a tiny table. So shallow you really can't even cross your legs while sitting in the chairs. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. We never met our cabin steward and we didn't the last time on the Getaway either.

We had the Unlimited Dining and I had the Unlimited Soda card. Would prefer Coca-Cola products but Pepsi didn't kill me. We never ate in the main dining room, only ate at the buffet, O'Sheehans and speciality restaurants. Overall we found all of the food very bland. Cagney's of course was great but we were disappointed in all others. Even the Japaneese was bland, sauces were bland, etc. We both lost weight on this cruise!
