I was a little leery of cruising on the Reflection, but this apprehension was misplaced. My wife and I truly enjoyed the cabin, ship, food and itinerary. We had sailed on the Solstice in 2010 for a Western Caribbean cruise in Aqua Class and we loved this cruise as well. We never experienced Celebrity prior to the change in executive chefs, but thought the food was good to very good in the MDR and good in the Oceanview café; albeit repetitive as others have mentioned. The ship was well laid out which made the it feel less crowded than you would expect with 3000 guests on board. We were in Concierge class on the Reflection and the stateroom attendants were excellent. Despite other opinions to the contrary, we liked the afternoon savories included and really liked the position of our cabin; port aft behind in a hump cabin with a larger veranda. The only disappointments were the amount of wind on the way to San Juan and the way back. Weather caused us to arrive one and a half hours late in San Juan which really limited sight seeing. The St Thomas and St Maarten stops were excellent with really warm temps and calm winds. Our self tour of St John was fantastic as we spent our time @ Honeymoon Cove at Caneel Bay Resort. What a spot! Perfect temps and a stunning beach. We took a speedboat excursion in St Maarten with Souliaga Destination tours. Capt Bob is the owner and he gave the prep talk and then turned it over to Michael, the one man crew. We visited the marina with Steve Jobs' $250M yacht and saw Donald Trump's $29M home on the way. We visited some uninhabited beaches and also stopped @ Pinell Island and had lunch @ Grand Case. The lunch there was the best food we had on the trip. The best Mahi Mahi ever! On the way back Michael cranked up the 3 300HP engines and it was exhilarating. 70MPH. Wow! Our friend lost his hat in the process. With very minor mishaps etc, this was a very enjoyable cruise. We would do it again

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

The cabin was in an excellent location on the ship; port aft behind the aft elevators on the Panorama deck. Very quiet as only cabins on decks below and above. We got lucky and had a cabin on the hump with an extended veranda. Krishna and Sechin were our stateroom attendants and did an excellent job of cabin upkeep. Krishna has some serious towel shaping skills and my wife really enjoyed the different towels animals he created each night on our bed. The beds are unbelievably comfortable and we left the sliding glass doors open each night to listen to the ocean breezes. Very soothing
