We were on the NCL BREAKAWAY last March 2014. The GETAWAY is very similar to the BREAKAWAY; sister ships. We had use of the HAVEN and Haven restaurant for Breakfast, Lunch and supper. My wife and friends enjoyed eating at O'SHEEHAN. We ate at Le Bistro and GAGNEY's, well worth the extra charge; we are Platinum members and received 4 extra meals and two bottles of wine. We also ate at Modurno, we paid the extra cost, well worth; the skeers of meats were amazing---especially the filet mignon, pork ribs and pineapple. The only thing I did not like was the broadway show of LEGALLY BLOND. I have been on more than 25 cruises, many shows, I walked out after 30 minutes. Not the fault of the cast----terrible story adaption of the movie. Getting on and off ship was very easy. Unfortunately the cruise was very windy- hot but very windy. We were lucky to have the Haven, where it was quiet. Our stateroom attendant started off nice, but when my wife complained one bathroom had no towels- guest bathroom, he was not so nice. The cruise director and staff were amazing and full of energy. Overall, we really enjoyed our cruise, only down size- as always- too, too, short.......
We had a large stateroom with a guest bathroom. Our balcony was very large. We had two lounge chairs, 4 sitting chairs and two small tables. We were AFT on a corner; great for relaxing and quiet time. We had a lot of space to store our belongings--easy to hide our luggage. We still had space to place cloths.
