This was my first cruise with Carnival after having previously only been on Holland America! The cruise itself started with a bit of a problem in port with problems to the gangway not really the cruise lines fault but more a problem with the port, my complaint was it was 30 minutes before anyone told us what was going on. Also did not appreciate the port workers demanding a tip before we had even gotten out of the car!

Once we got on the ship everything went very well, our cabin was nice although we did tell them there was a problem with the soap dispenser in the shower, it was never fixed but they did provide us with soap.

The food was fantastic in the dining room, we had great company at dinner as well. The lido was ok, just like anything else served in buffet style. Guys Burgers, as well as the Burrito restaurant are both really good if you are in a hurry. Read more
