This is our 6th cruise, 3rd with Carnival, and the second on the Freedom.

UPGRADES... loved the boat, and service was superb, especially our Cabin Steward, Randy. Our inside cabin was plenty roomy, beds comfortable. No problems there.

The real issue was as follows.. after 10 pm, only coffee, hot water, lemonade or ice cream was on the aft end of the boat. Our room was in the front, my husband walks slowly with a cane. To get coffee, hot water for coffee bags (we brought with us because we do NOT enjoy the coffee on the boat) or ice cream- pizza is also located back there.. when sitting on the smoking deck 10, we have to go to 9-Lido, to go get coffee or ice cream.. hubby can't do stairs, so we had to walk to the elevator, down to 9, then walk all the way through 3 dining areas, to get what we wanted. This is a real problem for the people with disabilities.

our Rivera deck room was nicely decorated with plenty of storage space. The restroom was big enough, and the shower was heaven. we always had plenty of towels, no amenities baskets tho. The did provide body wahs and shampoo that was pretty ok.we certainly did hear noises from below, especially coming into port. slamming doors and such. Didn't bother us much tho.
