This was our fifth celebrity cruise and tenth in total. We are retired and in our early sixties and prefer Celebrity to Royal Caribbean.

We flew from Birmingham Airport to Venice and were met by Celebrity reps at the airport where our luggage was taken for us. Transfer to the port was very quick and we were on the ship by midday, enjoying a mimosa. The cabins were ready by 1.30 and the luggage arrived at about 5 pm.

The ship was docked overnight in Venice so you could explore the beautiful city for the rest of the day and also the following morning. We took a ships tour around the Venetian Islands the next morning. Read more
