We booked our air through Royal Caribbean and were impressed with the flights they were able to offer, and the price. The only annoying part of the travel was that the transfer from the airport to the ship took forever (more than 2 hours) because we had to wait for buses and the wait was in the parking garage where we were exposed to fumes from the various shuttles.

We originally booked an ocean view room but when we got to the boat, found that the bathroom had been used and were upgraded to a balcony. The room was larger than I expected, though definitely not what I would consider comfortable. I was hesitant to sit on the couch as it looked as though it had been on the ship since its inception more than 10 years ago. The balcony was great and I would never go on a cruise without one- being able to get fresh air in the room was great, as was the ability to enjoy the sounds of the water and watch the ports from the privacy of our own room.

Service was very good and our room attendant was friendly and attentive.
