My second cruise on Aurora - and three years later it was just as lovely. An outside cabin with my daughter was perfect, especially with a walk in shower - great. Everywhere was clean and my only disappointment was my single bed, as the mattress was not comfortable.

I understand the Aurora will be in for re-fit next February, and this was my only complaint ! The food and service was excellent, especially at the Café Bordeaux, but did not take an evening meal there as the Medina Restaurant was excellent. The food and service in The Orangery was very good, the tables always quickly cleared by smart young men. Always clean uniforms.

Embarking at Southampton was swift, although Disembarkation could have been better as crowds gathered around the Reception area despite having been told not to do this. Baggage was easily located on leaving the ship. Tenders well organised when necessary. Read more
