A little background:  This was our second cruise with Carnival. We have been on 7 cruises total- 2 with Carnival and the rest with RCI. We first sailed with Carnival on the Fascination with good friends who are Platinum with Carnival. After that sailing we decided to stick with RCI. We gave in for this cruise when some family members wanted to go on Carnival. We thought we would try again because it was a much larger ship and had the upgrades. Let me say upfront that we had a GREAT trip! There were just too many negatives and things missing for us.

Embarkation

We arrived at Port Canveral at 10:00 am. We had purchased FTTF and we were inside and walking on the ship in less than 30 mins. Our stateroom was ready right away. We had an interior on deck 2 (main). Read more
