Best to know what you want to do ahead of time. Many in our party went to Cocoa Beach and said they had a good time. Husband and I rented a car to go see family members near Orlando. Many on our ship went to Kennedy Space Center and had very good things to say about it!

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Made the mistake of not booking an excursion here. Got off the ship to people hounding you about everything, we walked to a public beach and we were asked to buy everything from hair braiding, sarongs, and drugs.

Nassau

Had a great time here, there were 2 RCL ships here at the same time. A little crowded but so many different sections of beach with lounge chairs everywhere. Bar service was a little slow. Water so clear we walked out several hundred yards and the water so still not even to our waist. We also saw several stringrays and we were out there with them, in their natural settings. Awesome experience and the kids in our group loved it. Some of the kids also did the inflatable playground in the water and had a blast!

Perfect Day at CocoCay

It does take awhile to get off the ship due to customs.However, I have been wanting to see Key West for a long time!We did Duval St, the Southernmost Point, and Mallory Square. After a lot of walking we stopped at Flying Monkeys on Duval and had some of the best frozen drinks I've ever had. Fun place!The free tram ride to and from the ship is fun! Get to see some of the town and the houses, so it was a nice touch.

70’s Night in the Centrum (VERY GOOD BUT WE WERE TOO TIRED TO DANCE)
On Carnival, we don’t go to any of the shows (except comedians and the newlywed game, on Royal we go to the shows every night.The singers and dancers were all very talented, we had some of the norovirus of this ship, and the dancers/singers were working the cafeteria during the day – was neat to see them up close and compliment them)
