This was our first time going on Norwegian. We were a group of 19 people. Was little nervous because I read a lot of negative reviews. Im a picky person with food and everything under the sun. Well I must say that the whole group had a blast!!!!!
Embarkment was fast and easy as well as leaving the ship also. As soon as we got onto the ship which was about noon. We walked around and had lunch in Osheenans. It was a sit down and you can order off the menu. Wings, spinach dip, mozzarella sticks, chicken sandwiches, hot dog, corn beef andwiches which all was good. The garden cafe which is buffet style was very crowded and filled with kids running around. We did have breakfast there later in week and it was little better. They had everything from made to order omelets and waffles and pancakes. O sheeenas had breakfast as well and you can order eggs and french toast from a menu and its much more quieter. We ate lunch in there as well every day. The kids went there also.
DINNER We ate in a speciality resturant every night. Cagneys by far best one to go to. Steaks, shrimps and lobster with pasta. The chef Wayne Anthony came out to talk to our group many times. He was awesome and would make us whatever we wanted. Moderma was just ok. That the brazillian place. The italian place was just ok also. Pizza , pasta and different meats. We went to Cagneys 3 times because i read reviews before we left saying that was the best place and i agreeded. My girlfriend was 50 on the cruise and we told them and they brought her a beautiful cake from carlos bakery to celebrate her birthday. Desserts at these resturants were just ok nothing special.
