Let me start by stating that I really enjoy NCL, this was our fourth cruise with them in the last 4 years and our 6th overall, we have also booked another cruise on the Breakaway this year. So most comparisons will be with other NCL ships, (Gem, Jewel, Dawn). I have also sailed with Carnival,(years ago), and RCCL,(2012).

If you don't know what Jersey week is, it's a week in November that there are only 2 days of school, so many families vacation this week. Upon boarding the ship it was obvious the crew was not prepared for the amount of people on board, especially the amount of young people, (Approx. 1200 under 18 years old).

Surprisingly, the kids club was probably the most prepared for the amount of kids. Our son was there most days and did not complain about the amount of kids at all.
