My wife and I were married while on this cruise (wonderful experience!) and overall we really loved the cruise and our time aboard. There were just a few issues that we felt to be bothersome that Celebrity should work to correct. We traveled with my wife's parents for the big event and had two nice balcony's rooms on the 8th deck right at the bend of the ship so our balcony's were extra large :-). That is probably my biggest tip for an Alaskan cruise, while we always get balcony's when cruising (this was our 4th cruise), a balcony on an Alaskan cruise is absolutely worth it so you can see all the scenic views (more on this later)!

Embarkation:

Embarkation went very smoothly. There was a decent line but all in all it was very orderly. There was a gentlemen that greeted us as soon as we got our luggage out of the taxi who helped us tag all our bags and then we proceeded through the check in process.

Cabin Review

Room: (Balcony on the 8th floor)The balcony room we stayed in was laid out very well and very spacious. There was a large king size bed with a large couch, nice size flat screen tv, hanging locker / closet, and desk / dresser area. The bathroom was also nice size (again for a boat). The room was very clean, and since we booked one of the rooms that is right at the midship where the balcony rooms start to get larger, we had an "extra large" balcony compared to most balcony rooms. You can do this without any type of up charge also. The other great thing about the balcony's was that they are very comfortable, very little to no wind / and temperate.
