Sail Date: Jan 2007
Traveled with children

We sailed on the Glory Jan. 6 with a group of family and friends. We had our 2 kids who are 11 and 14 with us. Embarking was a little slow as they were late getting people off the ship. But overall it was about 45 minutes.

Have to say we liked the neon colors of the ship, made it very lively! Our cabin was an inside on Riviera deck, mid ship, lots of room with the four of us, though a small chair would have been nice. My parents were across the hall in a outside and it was much bigger! Cabin stewart was no big deal, we have had better.

Dining: We ate at 6:15 in the Golden room. Waiter and aide were good, though at times seemed a little frazzled and sometimes mixed up our orders. Bar girl was great and remembered our kids drink preferences after the first night and would have them on the table quickly without even asking. Food was very good. Better then we had on the Paradise. Ordering extra of one dish was great, though they still always piled the extras (potatoes/veggies) on even if you asked for meat only. Seemed like a waste. Red sail was very good. We always ate upstairs where the fish and chips were served as it seemed people did not know this area existed so never a problem finding a seat. Yes breakfasts got tiring as there really is only so much you can do for that. Pizza bar was excellent! maitre d was not seen once the whole week, only heard...so no tip. Other cruiselines they would visit out table each night, even if just for a quick hello!
