Did a sampler cruise for 2 nights out of Sydney. Having never cruised before it was a wonderful experience and definitely made us want to do another one. The facilities were great, the shows were great, the variety of food was excellent and it being available 24 hours a day was more convenient than we expected. We managed to get around and see most of the ship and what we saw was impressive. The staff were great (although friends of ours had a stateroom attendant that obviously didn't care) and our stateroom attendant Francis was just wonderful.

Apart from not having enough time to really get to see everything, I can honestly say that the only thing we didn't like was the smell of sewage in some parts, if they can fix that then it's pretty much perfect!! We watched a parade down the promenade, then danced the night away in The Vault night club. We had a Promenade Stateroom which was quite roomy and well appointed, we didn't care much about the view we were only ever in our stateroom to sleep. It only had US and European powerpoints but fortunately we had an adapter with us. Embarking and Disembarking were well handled, reading the information you get beforehand is definitely helpful, there were two people complaining when we were there and it was obvious they hadn't read their info because it was all covered and basically they were wrong but the staff were very nice about it. I ate too much great food, stayed up too late partying, and had a wonderful time, can really recommend this ship and it's crew.

Cabin Review

Great view over the Promenade, quite spacious, well appointed. Value for the price.
