I have read others' reviews, and am astounded because I cannot believe they sailed the same ship as we did! We had an outstanding experience, and the Dawn is an incredible ship, with a great staff. Cruising out of NY is so easy. We got there early and did pre-check in, which gave us time to wait, but we were one of the first on the ship once opened for boarding. We knew from reading the boards to head for the Venetian for lunch...the food was great, and the service impeccable (they even scraped the crumbs!)

Our mini-suite was perfect for the two of us, and we had a great balcony. We were mid-ship, which was good, since the winds were harsh and you could really feel the waves if you were closer to either end of the ship. Our room stewards, Henry and Allan, were awesome, keeping things clean, and making the most adorable towel animals ever! We used the concierge only once, to make reservations for the Murder Mystery dinner, so we did not have to leave the hot tub! Otherwise, I was perfectly able to pick up the phone and take care of things...

Seeing Lady Liberty as the sun set will be a moment we will never forget...
