We took the 7 day western Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona with my wife. This was our first longer cruise so we had quite high expectations.

The traffic to the Barcelona port was ridiculous on Embarkation day, as most of the travelers seemed to take a Taxi. Check-in and boarding went well anyway, our bags were taken in right away when we got to the port and check-in line progressed smoothly.

Our stateroom and the balcony were spacious, and the balcony was in a nice private spot. The room was pretty nice for two people. The sink was places opposite the toilet/shower, which was quite odd and inconvenient. Also the shower pressure was too low.
