This was our ninth cruise, and our fifth cruise on Carnival. We sailed on the Liberty last year and did the Western itinerary. We loved the Liberty so much (with the 2.0 upgrades) that we decided to return this year and go on the Eastern itinerary. Our ports of call were Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, San Juan and Grand Turk. Great itinerary! We could easily repeat this itinerary without hesitation.

Our cruise director, Karl (with a "K"), his assistant Adam, and the rest of his staff did a great job of keeping everyone entertained on board.

We ate in the Steak House on the first night, and the food was excellent! I highly recommend it. Always in the past, we chose early seating for dinner. This time, we chose Anytime dining, and it worked out great for us. I don't think we'll ever go back to a set dining time. We opted not to take dress up clothes for the formal dining nights, and ate at the buffet on the two formal nights. Although the stage shows were pretty good, I can't say they were exceptionally good.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8B

Cabin #7408. Good location for easy access to the Lido deck, Aft pool area, and Victoria's lounge. There is a housekeeping storage room across from this cabin, so if you're a light sleeper and like to sleep in, the noise in the morning may be bothersome. Also, although it's conveniently located right around the corner from the Aft elevators and stairway, you will from time to time hear other passengers talking as they walk past in the hallway.
