I went on this cruise with 3 friends. We got two adjoining balcony rooms. They were upgraded, and we really enjoyed the extra room!
Haven't cruised for a few years, but have to say I thoroughly enjoyed everything on Princess! Embarkation went well. We practically walked onto the ship and right into our cabins.
Food was fantastic! I like to peruse the buffet to see and taste the different dishes. I ate a lot of fish, which I don't usually do in Chicago. It was extremely fresh and prepared well.
Our cabin was laid out very well. Yes, the bathroom was small, but for two women, the lack of space there was made up for by the drawers/closet and cabinet space. We had a lot of stuff! It fit just fine!
Enjoyed coffee on the balcony in a.m. and drinks there in p.m.
My twin bed was very comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping.
Even can't complain about one outlet in the room. Could only plug one item in, even though it had two ports. Could have used two separate ones.
The girls and I decided to rent a Bungalow. We paid extra for the 'adults only' one at the end of the beach. It was further away from the BBQ and available beach. Did not know this at the time.
It was very well air conditioned. We were served well by one of the ship's crew, who brought drinks AND food for us.
Next time, though, I would prefir the beach or regular bungalow.
