Getting the age 55 discount was nice for my wife and I who have cruised 3 times before, but never on Carnival. We'd heard stories! But it was a pleasant time and we'll do it again.

Carnival seems to have perfected the getting on and getting off the ship. Since we live in Florida, we drove to the Port of Tampa, parked the car in the garage and rolled our own luggage. All was effortless and without a hitch.

We had never been on such an ornate ship and enjoyed its artsy atmosphere. The cabin balcony view was obstructed by the lifeboat, but we had known that ahead of time and took the only remaining room - 10 days before the cruise. The room was spacious and comfortable.
