My husband and I sailed on the Explorer of the Seas departing from Cape Liberty N.J. on May 19th. Let me say that this was the BEST cruise experience we have ever had!

The Explorer is a beautiful ship. Although I do agree that maybe she might be due in drydock to change the carpeting. This was the only area I saw wear and tear. But, considering the traffic on a weekly basis, the ship is clean and in fine condition.

Embarkation: AMAZING! It took longer to park the car than it did to board the ship. We think all other ports should really take Bayonne as an example of what a cruise port should be. Arrival at the the port, until we were on board, took only 45 minutes total. Read more
