We traveled with 2 other couples who previously sailed Carnival, but this our first experience with Carnival. We had an enjoyable cruise which was very relaxing, and well worth the money. We were excited and pleased with our corner aft cabin with wrap around balcony, and spent a lot of time on it watching sunrises/sets, and the pier crews when docking.

We ordered room service in the mornings and snacks for sail always with our glass of wine in the evenings, so we got a lot of use of this private deck. We even used the deck to get some sun tanning in because there were too many chair hogs around the pools. Note to Carnival, can you please do something about this towel saving chair BS! We were very happy with our room steward & ended up tipping him extra because he always had ice in our room, and extra towels available.

We were not unhappy with the dining room menus, but some nights found it difficult to choose something we might like. My husband ordered filet mignon 2 nights because nothing interested him. I tried new things, but didn't find anything that I was "wowed" by. All in all, I have enjoyed my meals on Celebrity more. We enjoyed all the shows, some more than others, and found the Cruise Director (John Heald) an asset to our trip. He made everything more funny and special because he enjoys what he does, and it shows. I was impressed with the costumes and stage lighting/props, as well as the Broadway review and choreographed numbers. We didn't like the smoke filled bars and casino, so we kinda missed out on spending time in them.
