Sail Date: Jul 2005

We sailed the Carnival Glory from July 23 - July 30. Our group consisted of myself and my husband (50's), our 21 year old son, 19 year old daughter and her 19 year old friend. We drove from Tennessee and stayed at the Comfort Inn in Titusville on July 22. Next day drove to Port Canaveral which was about 24 miles. We have all sailed at least once before. The last cruise was Carnival Sensation in June 2003.

Embarkation - not long at all. We were at the Port by 11:30am and eating lunch in about an hour and a half. Pretty smooth system at Canaveral.

Cabins - My husband and I had a balcony cabin for the first time. This is the way to go. We loved it. It gives a sense of privacy and escape from crowds when needed. The rest of our party had a room with an ocean view. They were jealous of the balcony! Rooms very clean and a little larger than the Sensation. The Glory was spotless. Cabin stewards very friendly.
