We had FUN on the CRUISE because we were together with friends, but the CRUISE was nondescript. The Entertainment was NIL...only 2 shows and both with only CARNIVAL Dancers & singers...no outside entertainment, except 2 comedians in one of the lounges. LOTS of PHOTO "stagings" , food was OK, waiter had no personality....all in all, pretty blase!

Key West was very nice, Ocho Rios was a filthy place where we felt threatened with every turn....and Grand Caymen was OK.

The FREEDOM needs to be overhauled....it is looking very tired! Our SPA cabins were quite nice but were directly under the Serenity Deck where people could look down on our balcony (which was not covered) and the "Chair movers" started before the sun came up, dragging and dropping them directly overhead! Cruising used to be a time of ELEGANCE and Pampering....now it is just a "ship" sailing with nothing SPECIAL to do. No one dresses up, the food is mediocre, the ports are nothing but "tourist traps", the people obviously go just to gouge themselves on "endless" eating binges. I think we are CRUISED OUT!!??

Balcony

Cabin 8F

SPA CABIN....nice but needed updating. Drawer kept falling forward, drapes were frayed from stepping on them at the doorway. Balcony was crowded and uncovered, allowing people above to look down on us. The DECK CHAIR MOVERS were very active at 6:45 AM, which was very disturbing.
