Cabin: Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
By prior arrangement on Cruise Critic's Roll Call, we met a couple who were staying at our hotel, Molino Stucky, and shared a water taxi to port.
Embarkation was quick and easy.
After taking our carry-ons to our stateroom we went to Lido for lunch where we ran into our friends from sharing the water taxi. We decided to go into Venice together after lunch. We had a nice time exploring the city and, as a result, we enjoyed doing things together throughout the cruise.

Only negative to this stateroom was that it was below the pool deck and almost every morning about 6:30 you heard chairs scrape.
