This was a very pleasant and relaxing week. At first I had thought 3 days at sea would be too many but actually, it worked out very nice. So as not to repeat what others may have offered, I will summarize our experience by saying the service (cabin, dining room, bar staff) was good to very good -- everyone always seemed to have a smile and an hello for you. Food was also good to very good. We had all but 1 dinner in the MDR. The Pub Lunch in the Wheelhouse Bar was a nice change of pace (offered 2 of the days at sea). Entertainment was good for the most part. Others have mentioned the comedians Alfred and Seymour - and yes - they were very good. The cover band (Elements) we also found enjoyable. The Lionel Ritchie Tribute was poor. Games shows (like Weakest Link) were made fun by the efforts of the cruise staff. (Loved all the trivia!) We never made it to MUTS. Ports of call were nice. We handled our own time on shore -- used taxis and/or walked around. Especially enjoyed Palm Beach on Aruba. On the 3rd night of the cruise, we had a leak in the BR which flooded it, the area directly outside the BR door, and some down towards the bed. Not exactly sure what happened but it is lucky we came back after dinner when we did that night or it could have been much worse. The situation was handled quickly and we were moved to another cabin for the duration of the cruise. Unfortunately it meant we no longer were with our travel group (we had booked adjacent cabins) but it worked out OK (we were still on same deck) and everything was done that could be done to make us happy and comfortable. A bump in the road for sure but as I said, it was handled quite well all things considered. We love cruising and have always enjoyed Princess. Looking forward to another one already -- date and destination to be determined.
