Ship: Britannia. Cruise Number: B809 Date of Cruise: 8th April 2018. Southampton Ocean Cruise Terminal: After arriving by transfer coach at the designated time we were directed to the cruise terminal. Although we had priority boarding status no P&O staff were available to inform us of which desk was allocated for priority boarding passengers. Finally after checking in and requesting ...

At least half our cruises, more than 20, have been with Celebrity Cruises so that's our yardstick for our first P&O cruise. Very slick check in, best we have ever had without priority check in. We arrived 12:35 and were in our cabin at 13:00. Luggage was there by the time we had a snack. Cabin a reasonable size, open fronted wardrobe sharing the access to the compact bathroom, no less than 40 ...

We were very apprehensive as we joined Britannia for our cruise around the med Sept 16-30th. We really enjoyed our time on the boat however. We had an inside cabin which was plenty big enough and in fact on the foggy days appeared to be the only ones who had a good nights sleep - never heard the fog horn at all. We enjoyed all the destinations we visited and the trips to Rome and Florence ...

Priority boarding took 15 minutes and we were clear having a champagne lunch by 13.30pm. By time we got to our balcony cabin B248 (deck 14 mid to forward) 2 of our 3 cases were already delivered and the 3rd arrived as we unpacked. The ship is huge but easy for seasoned cruisers to navigate. The cabin & bathroom were nicely decorated and provisioned but the balcony was very small, struggling to ...

We pick The Britannia as she a newest ship in the fleet, we were on venture last year so pick other in their fleet. We read other comments about this ship from the guest who have been on her so was not sure if we were doing the right thing, but they say everyone as their own taste and we found the Britannia to be a lovely and friendly ship, yes she as her faults but don't all ships. There is no ...

Passive smoking bonanza

Please think carefully before traveling with P&O. The first thing we noticed after embarkation, was the smoking area directly below our cabin. Starboard mid ship. The smokers were also given a prime spot right at the back of the ship. We usually love to stand and enjoy the wake experience but passive smoking was again a problem, despite climbing higher, we were regularly breathing cigarette smoke. ...

cost was decent. destination was itinerary was very good, the ship itself is stunning and very well decorated throughout. The shows in the theatre where superb and the majority of the guest artists where also very good. The entertainment team didn't do enough to make themselves known to the passengers and having been on the Azura several times I don't think they can hold a candle to them. The ...

This was our first cruise and it won't be our last. We were a bit worried about driving to the dock not knowing where to go but it was well marked and you just followed the traffic. We were met by the porters who then took our cases and the drivers who then went and parked our car for the duration of our holiday. Then looking like lost sheep followed the rest of the people to join a line into ...
