Mini-Suite with Balcony (MD) Cabin Reviews

Our steward was fabulous and very friendly. Beds were cozy and clean as was the bathroom, but towels were rough and stained. Not his fault.

I had read previous reviews about the vibration noise in this cabin and can report that it is still there. Previous reviewers stated they put paper in the fixture above the king bed to stop the vibrating noise, and those pieces of paper are still there. I had to wedge my travel bedroom slippers behind the tv to stop it from vibrating so I could sleep. The vibration is only noticeable when the ship is under full steam so there were only 2 nights this was a problem. We really liked the balcony, which is curved toward the stern of the ship so you have a view to the rear of the ship. The ship was refurbished recently but they did not add new outlets. Not nearly enough available for charging electronics. Read Less

Nice Cabin at the back of the ship. Nice View and big enough with a real bath tube!! You have to walk to get to the restaurants, but did not matter.

I have been spoiled with the mini-suite that has more space to stretch out on a longer cruise. Cabin steward kept it spotless and attended to our every needs.

First time on Island : Cabin D714
Very nice cabin, though we were spoiled by the Mini-suite on the Caribbean Princess and this is not quite as nice. Viewing the glaciers from a balcony is really wonderful.
