Ok, so I have nothing to compare the cruise that I went on because it was my first cruise but my boyfriend has been on several and he agreed with everything that I have written.Embarkment and Disembarkment- Quick, easy and organized! We got to the boat from the airport in about 15 minutes. From there, we were on the boat in a half out after that. All in all it was about 45minutes from the airport ...

We have been to S Carribean with HAL once, and this W Carribean with Princess is our second cruise. I traveled with my teenage son from Maryland. We stayed in the Crown Plaza at Port Everglades the night before the cruise which was very convenient. The hotel rate was reasonable and the shuttle from the airport and to the port was convenient and cheap. We booked a post cruise tour of Fort ...

Ok i have never wrote a review but i had read them constantly before our cruise embarked. I had mixed feelings but once on the boat, they are drifted away. First day. Embarkation-painful and easy. We took a red eye from Los Angeles to Ft Lauderdale the night before and arrived at 5AM in the airport and slept a little there before heading to the liquor store for some purchases before the ship. I ...

We are younger couple with 2 small children who enjoy cruising and while we did not bring our children with us we have been on several perhaps 50 combined cruises since we were younger ourselves. We drove to the fort lauderdale port and when we got there the boarding was very easy and very fast perhaps 20 minutes from the parking garage to stateroom where it was very clean and the attendant ...

This was our fourth cruise with Princess. We have always been very pleased with our experiences. However, after this cruise we will not be booking on the Crown Princess for future cruises.Embarkation was fast and easy as usually on board by 1:00 pm to start the trip. But once on the Lido deck we noticed the smell of sewage. I thought it was low tide at the port. With a party of 8 we had no trouble ...

We are just back from our week on the Crown. Had a wonderful vacation. I have enjoyed reading all of your reviews, so here is mine.We are 2 couples in age range of 40's -50's. Our friends had a mini suite and this trip we did an inside on lido deck. I have always wanted to try a cabin on the lido deck to see if the location would be more benefical.- more about that later.Ft Lauderdale. Made our ...

I follow these boards frequently (especially 6 months prior to a booked cruise) and continue to be amazed at how helpful they are. I always "pay it forward (and back)" by writing a detailed review of our experiences (you can see my other detailed reviews by clicking on my name). Here is our latest, on the Crown Princess, April 23-30. Let me tell you the bottom line first: it was a great cruise. ...

I would like to say that my girlfriend and I were first-time cruisers on this cruise and we had high expectations of fun and relaxation, and very little knowledge of the whole idea of cruising and ports and excursions, etc. First and foremost we were NOT disappointed. The Crown Princess was a beautiful ship. Our interior room was about what we expected, not huge but cozy enough. We wanted to save ...

Grand Cayman, Cozumel and their own beach resort - Honduras was missed as weather too rough to dock. All three ports just a tourist nightmare...we felt we were in an Airport Duty Free Mall. No charm and all geared for tourists. Had we known we would never have gone. Had Pricness been more forthright in their decriptions we would have realised it did not suit us! Yes the water was reasonably ...

My wife and I just got back from a march break Western Caribbean cruise aboard the Crown Princess. We have sailed with Princess before (Star Princess), and the 2 ships are almost identical, and overall, I can highly recommend Princess; it was another amazing vacation. Here is a quick breakdown:Transportation to Port Everglades: We had a rental car and came from Miami. We dropped it off at the ...
