Embarkation was a nightmare. You would think they had never done this before. We had received advance notice via e-mail saying that the boarding time was delayed until 2 pm as a result of a norovirus issue. On my second sailing with Celebrity, my Family and Friends (7 in our party) received an e-mail from our travel booking company alerting us to the delay for embarkation on Solstice's 12/11/12 embarkation due to a gastrointestinal bug from their transatlantic sailing. When booking a cruise, especially Celebrity Solstice, be sure it is not coming off a reposition cruise. The experience we had resulted from the required coast guard review in Ft.
