1-10 of 188 Alaska Celebrity Eclipse Alaska Cruise Reviews
This cruise was the last 2023 Alaska cruise. For the most part the crew was great! Dining room crew was the best. I can't say much about the room attendant as he was never around and lots of times did not live up to our wants. And what is with the mattress pad bumps? I had to strip the bed and turn the dang thing around. Who sleeps on that? Not us! We only saw the Cruise director once on ...
I have done the Alaskan cruise 6 times and this was the worst. Holland America beats Celebrity hands down in every category. Here we go: the coffee was awful. Burnt one day, weak the next and just ok on a good day. Never ! Have I returned an entry in previous cruises. Three!! times I sent my dinner back. Poor selection for appetizers and main entrees. Only the deserts were good.

We choose this cruise due to the fact we live in Vancouver and wanted to walk on our cruise. This was our 5th Celebrity cruise and we were unfortunately disappointed. The common rooms ( bars , restaurants, lounges ) were very dark and lacking in quality service. Cafe Al bacio seldom had seats available. No drink service provided in the solarium. Likewise , the passport bar was always full and we ...
We sailed from Vancouver on August 27, and as other reviews have mentioned, the embarkation process is a complete mess. With 3 ships in port there was upwards of 7,000 passengers all snaking thru the same line and it took us almost 2 hours to board. Someone definitely needs to look at this process. We’ve had 8 cruises in total and have never gone thru something like this! Being from Vancouver, I’m ...
This was our 7th Celebrity cruise, but the first since 2017 due to you-know-what-global-disaster. A couple of weeks before departure I ventured back to Cruise Critic and read so much doom and gloom about how bad Celebrity has become, and all the loyal passengers moving to better and more luxurious lines etc etc. I understand this particular demographic and their mindset, but it was a little ...
Unfortunately the official survey sent by the cruise line focused mostly on the staff, but I have a few other things to mention. The luggage took 6 hours to get to the cabin, although my check in was the earliest. Meals could be slow in the main dining room. One night it took an hour and a half to get our entrees. Dinner in the Murano, a specialty restaurant, was very good, but certainly not ...
I cannot say enough great things about this cruise and the captain and staff that made it so wonderful. The buffet was the best I have ever had with so many choices and different choices every day.The food was fantastic and I give much credit to the chefs that made this possible. The dining room for dinner was a true delight and again the food was just wonderful.I want to thank Ernesto,Jovet and ...
My first cruise...a friend said probably the least amount of children with Carnival...cabin steward was very attentive. All staff had kind words & greetings at all times, if they were assigned to you or not. The waiters and waitresses were exceptional. Moonlight Sonata Deck 3 was our dining room. Ron and his asst. Yolanda were outstanding. They made the experience wonderful. We almost neglected ...
We have sailed on Celebrity the last 7 cruises we have taken. This was our third time reserving in the Retreat.
The ship is good for cold weather sailings, however, with no Retreat Sundeck, private pool and bar, would not spend the money for the Retreat.
Suite service was excellent. Our butler, Orsa, was fantastic. Always there when you needed something.
Bar Service at the World Class ...
We are just back from a 7-day Alaska cruise aboard the Celebrity Eclipse – our twelve or thirteenth cruise throughout the world. It was mostly good but things have changed in the cruise industry – the good ‘ol pre-pandemic days are naught but a pleasant memory.
Here were the things about the cruise that tainted the overall pleasure of it.
1. We embarked at the cruise ship terminal in ...
