Balcony (8B) Cabin Reviews

Sail Date: April 2015
It was just right for me. I think the cabins on all ships are always way to small for two, never mind four, if you're not in that "I can't survive without being close to you "phase.

Only negative which is my own fault for not booking earlier was that you felt and heard any rough water, but definitely not a deal breaker. Great views when arriving and leaving the ports. was also right under the bridge so very quite. Just around the corner was the front of the boat and basically a deck that nobody realized was there. OK, But a Little Tacky : Cabin 7318
Sail Date: November 2014
The cabin is midship and very nice. Closets and storage are great and the bathroom was large with a tub.The price is a few hundred more than a balcony but worth the difference. Erickson was our steward and he is OUTSTANDING.

Typical Carnival balcony room. Plenty of space, and storage. The decor was terrible, though. Very tired looking. Stuck in the 80's. Bathroom was okay. Decent size. You get a few freebies in a basket. Nothing great, but it's free. Housekeeping was good. Kept things clean, and always had clean towels, and the bed made. Balcony is bigger than on NCL ships, though. Only thing was the metal door to our neighbors balcony kept opening. Finally got it to close after a day, or two. The safe kept malfunctioning, though. I had to call the front desk 2X, but they fixed it promptly. Read Less
